Shelf Life was started, so that all those unsold or slightly damaged books don’t get tossed away, but rather sent to writing programs in need, free of cost.

We are holding a fundraiser to raise money for shipping costs. This is where you come in!

There will be a video presentation featuring YOUR stories of how poetry has moved you. 

How has it changed you, created you? 

Send a short video, no more than 2 minutes long (doesn’t have to be super fancy, iPhone is fine) to writebloodyhannah@gmail.com of you telling us how poetry has impacted your life.

Maybe you have a tattoo of your favorite poetry verse or line, maybe a particular poem helped you get through a tough time, or made a good time even better!
